The chauhan mansion stood majestically under the evening sky.it's towering gate, grand architecture and lavish interior reflected the immense power and prestige.The elegant dining hall was wrapped in a suffocating silence.The long mahogony table was occupied by dharmendra chauhan at the head,meera chauhan at his left and mahi chauhan on her mother's left.they all were having their breakfast.suddenly the shrill ring of the phone broke the silence
dharmendra glanced at the screen at picked it up
"hello,shlok ji" he greeted politely.mahi hear the name she snapped her head towards her father.
weeks ago,dharmendar had sent the marriage proposal for mahi to Veeransh,and ever since then she had secretly been waiting for an answer.after all,veeransh thakur is just any man-he was the mad she had been obsessed with for years
trying her best to appear calm,she again focuses on her breakfast to be an obedient and shy girl.
A few minute passed then another mahi was seeing her father with side eye to read his face however meera was silently eating her breakfast as she knew her husband doesn't like women's interference in the house
"yeh toh bahot achhi khabar hai shlok ji"dharmendar said with with a calculating smile on his lips
"ji ham milke pandit ji se date niklwa lenge,acha thike rakte hai"dharmendra said and placed his phone on the table.
meera finally looked at his husband and mahi's heart skipped a beat looking at her father
"veeransh ne mahi ke rishte ke liye haa kardi hai"dharmendra spoke in authoritative voice
no smile no excitement as if he was confirming an important deal.A wave of happiness rushed through mahi.her eyes lit up,despite trying to maintain her composure, a smile tugged at her lips
Across the table,Meera noticed unmistakable sparkle in her daughter's eyes.a faint smile appear on her face

turned,meera spoke in hesited voice "aradhya ko bhi bata de voh bhi beti hai is ghar ki"
The moment aradhya's name mentioned dharmendra's jaw tightened.
the satisfaction on his face disappeared instantly,replaced by visible irritation.
Mahi on the other hand could n't hide her reaction.
The excitement in her eyes got replaced by a look of annoyance.
dharmendra let out a cold breath
"koi zaroorat nahi hai shaadi se 5 din pehle bula lena"he said curtly and leave
meera lowered her gaze and while mahi tried to suppress it,the triumph smirk on her lips
Mahi's room
the moment Mahi stepped inside her room,a wide, triumphic smirk appeared on her lips
finally veeransh had said yes
without wasting the time she grabbed her phone and call the person she can't keep this news from kayra
"why are you calling this early abhi subah hi toh club se laute hai"kayra groaned dramatically
mahi rolled her eyes
"forget your hangover,I have a bigger news"mahi said
"what"kayra asked in sleepy voice
"veeransh had said yes to the proposal"mahi said biting her lips to suppress the grin

"so" kayra said smirking "when are we celebrating"
"aaj as papa is going to lucknow at the club sea down then"mahi said

"enough about me what about you"mahi asked and kayra blushed with the thought
"I met kartavya today have a chat with him everything was going good then that anvay he had to ruin it"kayra said in annoyance

Aradhya's room
the room was quite expect for the sound of page turning and pen scribbling
sitting at her desk Aaradhya was busy reviewing the reports
her phone suddenly lit up
Mom....
A faint smile appeared on her lips she immediately answered it
"hello mom"
"kaam kar rahi ho"
"hmm"for a moment no one spoke
the meera's tone softened as she spoke
"maine ek bat batane keliye call kiya th"
"kaisi baat"aradhya asked
"maahi ki shaadi tay hogayi hai"meera said with smile
"good yeh toh bohot achhi baat hai"aradhya said
despite everything between her and maahi she sounded happy
"waise kisse ho rahi hai shaadi"

before meera could complete the sentence
the door flew open
"mummmmma!"
aradhya closed her eyes at sudden voice
a second later rivaan came running and plopped himself at her lap
"mumma,mimmi ne bola go get leady fast,mall and games waiting"
aradhya sighed
and looked at her son whose eyes were sparkled with excitement
as rivaan looked into her phone he immediately grabbed her phone with his tiny hand
"naaani"rivaan said in loud voice
meera instantly laughed "kaisa hai mera bacha"
"I am gud"rivaan replied but suddenly pout and complaint to his naani

aradhya closed her eyes at her overly dramatic son
"achha? kya kiya mumma ne"meera asked with mischievous glint
"mumma ne molnig me fruit khilaya"
his voice grew more offended
aradhya pinched her nose and said "fruits are healthy"
"but I luv pancake"rivaan immediately responded
"aur mumma daantti hai mujhe aur mimi ko"rivan said in cut voice with lip forming a pout
aradhya raised an eyebrow
"I asked you both not to play with water"
"water war"he said
suddenly akansha's voice break through the room
"doctor madam jaldi ready ho ja"
"naani today mall"rivan said with joy
"very nice"meera said
"but mumma no ready always wok wok"he complained about his mother to her mother like parents do to the student's teacher
meera smiled knowingly
"mom mai ise leke jaa rahi hoo varna yeh aur aku naak me dam kardenge bye I'll call you back"aradhya cut the call and scooped rivan and head to the wardrobe
soon all three of them were seated in the car and aradhya behind the stearing wheel and akansha besides her and rivan in akansha's lap
aradhya started the engine and strode towards the mall
"akku I have a news"aradhya said with her eyes on the road
"really kis ka break up hua yaa phir kiska chakkar chal raha hai kisi ki wife ne usse peet diya kya"akansha asked clearly ready for new gossip
"for god sake akku kabhi toh kalesh ke alawa kuch soch liya kar"aradhya said and rolled her eyes
"mumma what is chakkar"rivaan cutely asked her mumma
"rivaan bado ki baato me interfare nahi karte now focus on the view outside"aradhya strictly said to rivaan and turned to akansha and glared at her
"can't you just see where you are talking and what words are you using"aradhaya said while akansha mouthed sorry with poor guilty face
"achha vaise baat kya thi"akansha asked still focus on the gossip aradhya sighed and said"nothing maahi ki shadi tay hogayi hai"
"what use kaun bichara shaadi karne ke liye raazi hogaya"akansha said and gasped
"akku she is my sister aur itni buri nahi hai"aradhya said
"right shayad tu hul gayi ho main nahi bhooli hoo kaise usne vee.....-"
as akansha was going to say something aradhya said in cold voice
"akansha don't"akansha immidietely stopped mid way as aradhya only used her name when she clearly is in anger
"fine as you wish"akansha muttered aradhya get all her attention diverted towards the road but her mind get drifted toward some memory
"catch me if you can thakur sahab...if I cought you na jaana I will decide my reward"
her thought get broken due to a sound on horn and she finally came to senses and finally they headed reach the mall
they went to gaming zone and shopping then they went to the food court and finally after the long day they return back to their home and drifted into their slumber
today we all are going to chauhan mansion to finalise my marriage date and other things.
It's been four days since I had said yes to the marriage and all my family members are really happy except for kartavya anvay shreshth and shaurya.
ever since they all are trying to make me change my decision.
currently,I am seating in the car in the passenger seat while kartavya is driving.anvay and shaurya are in the back.mom dad and dadaji are in one car,chacha chachi in one and bua ji and kayra in one.
aditya and shreshth are going to come late
I turned my head slightly and found all of them staring at me actually glaring
"are you all done"I asked dryly no response I sighed and turned to anvay
"tujhe jo bola tha ho gaya?" I asked but this idiot choose to ignore me and look into the window .
I rubbed my forehead
"Anvay"I said putting weigh into the voice as I know this asshole friend of fine,stil no response
Ahhhh!! but I have my golden tool
"fine don't tell but where's my phone"I said and look for the phone while I know where my phone is
"yeah kar diya"anvay gritting his teeth as I know his weak point
"tu hamesha uske phone se itna dar kyu jaata hai" kartavya asked and shaurya too had questioning expression.
I had a knowing smirk on my face
"akansha ko phone karu"anvay said with tight smile this made kartavya immidietely glared at him
"aur haa vaha pe apne in naino se teer mat chalana"I said and put on my glasses as car came to hault
I opened my gate all the family members were comming out from their respective car
we head towards the gate while servants took out the gift from the trunk
chauhan and thakur family was sitting in the hall.pandit ji was sitting with chart books ,maahi sat besides veeransh with lowered eyes still stealing glances at veeransh meanwhile kartavya anvya and shaurya were getting annoyed with this.
"toh pandit ji kab ka mahuruat shubh rahega shaadi ke liye"vyomika asked sitting with her husband
"badi thakurayin,shaadi ka mahurat agle mahine ki 20 taarik ka bahot shubh hai par uske baad fir chaar saal ke liye koi mahurat nahi hai"pandit ji said with hesitating voice
mahi's jaw get tighned as waiting for four years is too long.
"par pandit ji sirf 25 din me shaadi kaise ho paayegi"manvi said
"chhoti thakurain par shubh mahurat toh yahi suj raha hai"pandit ji said with gulped throat
"koi baat nahi anvi we can manage right bhayia"vardhan said and asked shlok
"ji agar char saal baad mahurat hai toh fir toh 25 din baad sahi"shlok said
"hame bhi koi dikkat nahi hogi"dharmendra said
"toh phir thik hai 20 tareek ki shadi tay karte hai"pratap said with smile
mahi was internally smilling at the news
"chaliye phir tilak kar dete hai veeransh ka"meera said softly
now come the ceremony meera did tilak of veeransh and hand him a coconut
vyomika put tilak of maahi and made her wear a chunri.
kayra take a piece of laddu and move to kartavya and said
"have some sweet na kartavya"she extended the laddu towards kartavya but he stepped back and firmly said
"kayra I don't really like laddo so please"anvay bite his cheeks to sniffered the laught still a chukkle left his mouth and kayra glared at him and said with tightened jaw
"zyada hasi nahi aarahi tumko"
"kyu tumne tax laga rakha meri hasi pe"anvya replied
"you..."as kayra was saying her mother called her and she left from there
"kya kar rahi thi vaha huh"kaveri asked
"mom main bas kartavya ko sweet khilane gayi thi" kayra said
"kayra kartavya ke saamne achhe se behave karo we can't let go of him and ignore anvay shaadi ho jaye phir toh teri hi chalegi na"kaveri said with smirk
"ok mom"kayra said and move toward maahi
they all left from their after some distance a car stopped infront of a man.anvay emerged from the car and move towards the car,he took out the bundle of notes placed it in the hands of the man and said "lijie pandit ji aur haa aaj ke baare me kisi ko pata naa chal jaaye"
"ji ji sir nahi pata chalega"the man said and left from their anvay returned to the car
and said "done voh kuch nahi bolega"to the men seated in the car
"good" the man at the stearing wheel replied that man was non other than veeransh thakur and the other two was shaurya and kartavya
"bhai ab aage" shaurya asked
"now it's time to play"
